The Emerald is by far the most authentic Thai food in Memphis. I lived in northern Thailand for 1.5 years, and they have unique northern Thai dishes and traditional Thai dishes that are excellent. Some of their menu items are more "Chinese-Thai" style like the Garlic Chicken. However, it is a fabulous authentic Thai restaurant if you know what the difference is.
