Food is good. But the service is horrible. I wish we had another Thai restaurant around here, so I can avoid going to Royal Thai Orchid. Your best bet--Take out

I'm originally from Thailand. At Royal Thai Orchid I loved everything there, food, service and atmosphere. I was away from home but this place made me feel just like home. every single dishes I tried remind me of Thailand. Moreover the staffs were just really nice and it's really what you're lookin for. The best thai restaurant ever!

We have been going to Royal Thai Orchid for years. It is by far my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I will go as far as to say that it is better than most I've been to in Philly. The ambience is lovely and the service is attentive. In all the years I've been going here, I've only had one bad entree. Must have been the chef's night off because I had that dish many times before and it was excellent. I was surprised by some bad reviews. There is a restaurant further down the road with a similar name that I hated. I wonder if they got confused.

Food is good and service is cordial. They prepare the dishes for Western tastes so you cannot get a real idea of Thai cooking in most cases. Ask for food prep to be "pet-pet" and you will experience a genuine meal. More authentic, but definitely a bit spicier. A nice low-key suburban eating experience.

Excellent. Great food, great service and reasonably priced. It's BYOB which we like also.

There aren't many Thai restaurants in these parts. Royal Thai Orchid is certainly not the best you'll ever find, but it is good and relatively inexpensive too.

I have been to this restaurant many times. The food is terrific and is nicely presented (if you care about this sort of thing) and I've enjoyed everything I've ever ordered here. Nice atmosphere and good service, as well. I've recommended this place to many friends and have heard very positive feedback.

Had an extremely unpleasant experience here- mediocre food combined with incredibly rude service and topped off with a messed up check. Reflected in the tip ($0).

Consistantly high quality restaurant experience. At the same time the staff is professional and attentive to every detail, they make you feel like you are having dinner at a friend's house. No amount of review on a website will do justice, so just go there and see for yourself - you won't be disappointed.
