Ruan Thai

This is my favorite Thai restaurant. Authentic flavorful food at great prices. It was the one thing that made me sad when I moved outside Montgomery Co. I still make special trips from Baltimore just to go there.

Having eaten Thai food at restaurants all over the DC area, I keep coming back to Ruan Thai. Authentic, well-prepared and, above all, delicious food that makes no allowance for the timid palate.

We regularly drive from West Bethesda to pick up the fresh and spicy food cooked at Ruan Thai. Try tom yum talay, Pork Satay, or the green or red curry with beef. It's the real thing.

This is a quality Thai restaurant with the best tom kha gai soup I have ever had. Very good.
