Thai Hut

I usually go to lunch on Tuesday at the Thai Hut (I call it Thai Tuesday)and my current favorites are basil chicken, garlic chicken and ginger chicken with soup. All dishes can be order at different levels of spiciness to suit your taste. I highly recommend the Thai Hut and you'll enjoy the friendly staff.

Excellent red curry, but so the other dishes. Prices are reasonable and service is fast and friendly.

From the mango madness slushee to to the yummy tom yum and crispy fried fish, this is as authentic as it gets. My family and I come here almost weekly.

I agree with the other reviewer. I lived in Chicago and also ate at a dozen Thai restaurants. None of them even come close to the quality and taste of Thai Hut in Rockford. The only comparable Thai food I've tasted was years ago at a restaurant in downtown Milwaukee. I haven't had anything I disliked at Thai Hut, but favorite is the panang curry.

I live in chicago and have eaten at hundreds of Thai restaurants and I would put the food here up against any downtown Thai place. , specifically, the mushroom lovers entree may be the single best dish I have ever had anywhere...I go 20 miles out of my way weekly to pick up food from this little gem located in an old Long John Silvers.

Your restaurant is a bit of a drive for me, but the amazing tom yum soup and flavorful red curry are worth the trip!

I was not happy with the Basil Chicken dish E3 on your menu. There was a brown gravy which I thought ruined the dish for me. I was very disappointed.
