"Been here a few times to get the real scoop. On weekend evenings, expect a wait before sitting down, but not too long, say 10-15 mins. Tasty food, decent portions. Decor is nothing special. The rooms, loud and crowded. Some might say "festive"; others, too loud. Entrees are $7.50 to $14+. WATCH OUT for overcharges on your bill--they've done that to us every time we've gone. It's intentional, since it's happened a few times. (Don't know about you, but in an all cash business, it really pisses me off to be nickeled and dimed.) Worst of all was our service. We waited 40 mins. for our dishes, while our waitress served her later-arriving "regulars" first. No one apologized, our waitress never returned to our table--not for water, nothing. We paid our bill through the busboy and left unthanked, unlike the regulars who departed amidst smiles and thank yous. Very disappointed. We'll try Jackson Heights for comparable food, better service, and cheaper prices. They shouldn't treat newcomers like this or they won't have any more regulars. " - Michael

"This is simply the best Thai in the five boros, and it's the best I've ever had in the US." - John-Paul Pagano

"My Thai friend recommended this place to me - she said it was the most authentic Thai food in NY. So we went there for dinner last night - it was packed for a Monday night. They have al-fresco setting in the back with beautiful flowers and mini water fountain. We ordered Papaya salad with seafood, Chinese Bok-Choy with salted fish, Tom-Yum soup, crispy pork with basil and chili, rice and Coconut juice. It was SO good I can still taste it! The total came out to $20 each including tips. It was very yummy I cannot wait for my next visit!" - Lina

"Awesome food and highly inexpensive compared to others. I hear they plan to expand again and add a bar. Definately worth checking it out and I promise you'll return." - Komain Somapeera

"As a resident of Southeast Asia for 7 years I can honestly say this is a truly authentic Thai culinary experience. How lovely to find an excellent and affordable Thai restaurant!" - Paul Thompson

"This restaurant received stellar reviews in the September 2005 issue of Bon Appetit (page 116) as one of the top seven hidden gems of New York." - Bon Appetit
